PUPPIES ARE HERE!!!!
Koko had a beautiful litter of seven. All I can say is that The Miracle of Life played out in seven acts over a few hours can be a moving experience. All are very healthy and whelped naturally over the course of 4 hours. Five brindles and two reds. She is an incredible mother and very attentive. I will update as often as possible. *Update* The puppies are more than double their birth weight at one week. They are getting quite chunky and we are very excited to see them open their eyes. The brindle males (1&2) were biggest at birth and are still the largest in the litter. These little guys are going to make great little nanny dogs.
*Update* At 3 weeks they have opened their eyes and are starting to walk on all fours. Their teeth are poking through their gums and they are play fighting and group wrestling. It is fun to watch. In my opinion they couldn't look any better.
*Update* 4 weeks and puppies are eating a mix of canned puppy food and puppy formula milk. They still nurse whenever Koko lets them. She is starting to run and play with the other dogs, but not as intense as usual. I think she will wean them fully over the next week.

Male 1- Black Brindle with right white paw and chest. Going to live with Joey and his family in Ohio, not too far from us. We are glad we will still be able to see him sometimes as he gets older. Thanks Joey.
Male 2- Black Brindle with white left paw and chest. He is the biggest of our pupies and has quite a personality. He and his sister are going to live in Canada with and we will miss them both.
Male 3- Red with Black Mask and white chest. He is going to live with Jennifer and Art in Ohio. He is really good looking and more laid back than some of the others.
Female 1- Red/Golden Fawn. Going to live with John in Massachusetts. We hope to come see her when we go to Conneticutt to visit cousins. My little Maggie was greif stricken when she left us, but we are happy to see her go to a loving forever home.
Female 2- Brindle and white (Heart on her chest. So cute!!!) A little bully girl she is in Calgary with Jody and her brother is nearby. She is a sweet little girl but is a force to be reckoned with. She does not back down from her bigger brothers and sisters but was very sharing with the other puppy that was her size. Interesting.
Female 3- Brindle with two white front paws (Number eleven on her chest). Very unique spotted socks on her. Never have seen this in a Staffy before. Buyer backed out and she is now available.

I refunded their deposit and agreed with them that they were not ready. Staffy puppies are a big responsibility. If you are unsure, don't get one. On another note, I think this little girl is starting to show some serious potential as a conformation prospect. A couple of people have commented on this as well.
